Criminal Regimes, Should not be Represented by the UN.
In recent days the United Nations has flown their flag at half-mast in order to ‘sympathize’ with the people of North Korea at the loss of their ‘dear leader’, Kim Jong-il.
The late Kim Jong-il was a genocidal dictator responsible for the slavery of a nation & the deaths of thousands of his people.
The UN should be showing solidarity with the victims of this brutal regime.
Instead they commemorate a man who has brutalized his own people with policies of starvation, torture, imprisonment and oppression.
To commemorate such a man is immoral.
Out of respect for the death of Kim Jong-il, the UN flag flies at half-mast in Geneva.
December 28, 2011.
“Today should be a time for the UN to show solidarity with the victims — the millions of North Koreans brutalized by Kim’s merciless policies of starvation, torture and oppression — and not with the perpetrator,” – Hillel Neuer, UN watch.
